Walking to Chip and Dale’s Acorn Acres to check out the newly-added minigolf feature, I noticed some warriors milling about. They don’t really care about anymore.”Ĭould it be true? Were the rumors spread through the Toontown Warriors community about this ban on roleplaying false, their sources of information false, or did the staff have a change of heart?įrom what I witnessed, it truly does seem as if warriors are currently in the clear.
Viper, one of those warriors who tried out Toontown Infinite, had this to say: “A few normal toons threatened me with reports and shit because I was practicing fight moves, but didn’t get banned and that was 3 days ago.”Īdditionally, Brookflow, the leader of Howling Wind Pack, who has established a district for her clan on Toontown Infinite, confirmed the staff’s apparent apathy by responding to a question on possible harassment or banning with, “No, not at all.
Toontown rewritten true friends full#
Members of the staff here at TTWcentral inquired to some warriors who had established clans on Toontown Infinite on anything they may have encountered, from harassment by non-roleplaying toons to difficulty getting their names approved or even full fledged bans for roleplaying. It is still unknown whether this is true or not, and some evidence actually suggests otherwise. There is another pressing issue, however, and that is the ban on roleplaying said to be in place by the staff of Toontown Infinite. It seems safe to say that Toontown Infinite is clean for the time being. I still have not seen anything from other users to the client warning of trackers and malware, nor have I encountered any symptoms telling of an infection. After scanning the installer and launcher with two different anti-virus systems I deemed it at least partially safe and, after further research from those who had already experienced some of the game, began to play. On the day Toontown Infinite came out I decided to take the risk and be one of those early testers, one of those people who would jump on in and see whether they were infected and tracked or not. However, despite what truly happened, the incident and the rumors surrounding it left an impression on many and a fear that their computers would be infected with malware and tracking devices and their accounts, money, and other assets would be at risk. Because the details are still sketchy and much of what happened is still unknown or mere rumor, it would be best to not go into detail on the subject. Of course, this became a major concern of many followers of Toontown Infinite’s after the incident involving a team member and RATs, tracking programs. One of the biggest issues preventing warriors from trying out Toontown Infinite is the rumors still circulating the Toontown community about the dangerous malware and tracking programs that may be hidden within Toontown Infinite’s client. Namely, the rumors of the no tolerance policy imposed by the admins and the more pressing rumors of the game being filled with malware and tracking programs. Nonetheless, Toontown Infinite does have its problems that have been driving away warriors from establishing clans on the game. Of course, this unrestricted access adds an advantage for the Toontown Warriors community: now full clans can interact in Toontown rather than the limited number created by the restrictions of Toontown Rewritten’s system. Toontown Infinite offers a large, key difference to how it is run in comparison to Toontown Rewritten: there are no beta keys or access queues to wait in to get into the game. To assist those unfamiliar with this particular server, Toontown Infinite is a private server for Toontown, much like Toontown Rewritten. However, Toontown Infinite had remained a total mystery to the community in terms of the number of districts and their stability, until Sunday. Of course, this became a major game-changer in the Toontown Warriors community – previously, issues had begun to arise from the discovered lack of districts in Toontown Rewritten. Around Sunday, July 13th, 2014, Toontown Infinite opened its gates, allowing total free, unrestricted access to the game for everyone. Hello again, warriors! As mentioned in our previous post, “Everything You Need to Know About the 5-10 Rule,” it had been rumored that Toontown Infinite’s staff would have a no tolerance policy on Warriors roleplay in their game.
